Perched along the stunning coastline in ‘The Kingdom of Fife’, this extraordinary 3-bedroom, 3-en-suite bathroom property, is a modern sanctuary, promising a feeling of being home-away-from-home.
Situated in the village of Aberdour, which is fondly called ‘The Fife Riviera’ by the locals, it has breathtaking sea views, exceptional amenities nearby, and proximity to a lush golf course. Aberdour is a 30-minute train or car journey to Edinburgh.
Aberdour has two beaches. This property is situated a stone’s throw from ‘Black Sands Beach’, which is a small & stunningly beautiful beach loved by the locals.
A short 5-minute walk around the harbour, over a cliff with stunning views, and into the next bay, is ‘Silver Sands Beach’, which has a lovely beach café.
The train-station is a few minutes walk from the house, with regular trains to Edinburgh & Dundee/Aberdeen. The village has a luxury delicatessen (‘The Post & Pantry’ where you can pre-order grazing boards & fresh baguettes), 3 coffee shop/cafés, the Aberdour Bistro (café/cocktail bar), Café 16 (restaurant with popular fresh local produce), ‘The Purple Shop’ (a local grocery store with well-curated Scottish produce), and ‘The Drinks Cabinet’ (a beautiful independent local wine shop).
The property is a 19th century cottage with views across the sea to Edinburgh, sitting in a cosy glass conservatory. It has a spacious living/dining room, with fast Wi-Fi access & charming electric fire. The kitchen is modern, with all accessories & appliances to make your stay easy & comfortable. These include an American-style fridge/freezer, washer-dryer, oven/hob, coffee machine, kettle & toaster.
Upstairs, there are 3 double-bedrooms, tastefully decorated, and made up with fresh linen & towels. The bathroom is spacious, with a separate shower & bath. There is also a toilet downstairs.
